nonas had pointed out that overarching mod issues (i.e. issues that were not post-specific) were not getting followed-up on when posted in the meta thread because we cycle through posts so quickly. they suggested a push towards using the mod post for this sort of communication, and we agreed.

the old mod post had been flooded because nonas tended to use it as a secondary deletion post and you're right, there had been a lapse in replying to concerns brought up there, so we thought we'd set a new precedent and start a new post.

please tell me you're not going to ban people wholesale from talking about suicidal feelings or venting about it

if its appropriately tagged i don't think people should be punished for this

hey nona. i don't know what the situation was with regards to the thread you linked to so i'm sorry that i can't give any clarification with regards to that.

but there's definitely no ban on talking about suicidal feelings in place on wiffu (and i doublechecked this in the mod chat with other mods to make sure) as long as your comment is appropriately triggerwarned.

the general rule is that the vent thread is a free-for-all (as long as no wiffu comm rules as stated on the profile are broken). this hasn't changed.

anyway thanks to whichever mod has been on in the past 2 hours, deleting and freezing stuff, resizing images and fuck knows what, but in that 2 hours failed to address that their post title included 'cuck', which is related strongly to anti-black racism, has been explained as such repeatedly, but thought racism is either too funny or was just being a racist asshole to be contrarian and didnt change it

the thread seems to be deleted now nona. i don't know which thread this was about, but in general mods may sometimes freeze threads first instead of deleting them right away to prevent more responses piling up, as comments made with an open comment window to the thread, even if it is deleted, will still post.

as a rule of thumb if it's in depth it requires a warning

like for example the other fingering stab wounds thread that mentioned cumming in stab wounds etc... that i deleted because it was in-depth enough to require a warning

you can put gif suggestions in the main post for the time being! that's how we handled it before the meta thread existed. if they haven't been acknowledged by a mod they weren't seen so feel free to repost after a day or two. post title suggestions are gonna be handled as usual by replying to the comment in question with mods in the subject line and "post title" in the comment.

wishing for a woman only comm is not the same as calling wiffu a woman only comm (in fact the wish itself inherently implies wiffu isn't only for women). telling men or nb people to get out of wiffu will always gets deleted but women venting about men or wanting spaces free of non-women is completely understandable and allowed.

do you think screening whenever trans trolling starts can be effective for a little while. i think wm gets mad that they can't troll in the vent/ot/discourse so they start up in the main post with the usual antics. it's so specifically tailored that i have a hard time believing it's not them. if it starts to be like 4/5 troll attempts, can we just start screening? we aren't even that active anymore so it'll take the fangs out of them
