whoever is modding rn made some really stupid calls about what needs to be deleted, made a statement about why something was deleted anon and left up it, and is now screening instead of answering any questions

i really doubt you'll be able to figure out who it is just bc this doesn't seem like something anyone is going to own up to but i'm going to ask for whoever is modding to say so in the mod chat, since screening is on they're definitely going to see it

mods could you please clarify the rule on when cw/tw are required

the rule has always been that it's only required for graphic descriptions of triggering content. so if you're mentioning a shipname like thorki, you don't need a cw or if you're just mentioning a kink e.g. "i like vore" you don't need to cw for core

based on this the original comment (i'm paraphrasing but it boiled down to "ddlb is hot") should have been left up, and even if the mod wasn't going to repost it themselves, they could have at least clarified which cw was required. similarly a comment saying "i love daddy kink" and nothing else was also deleted without explanation even though these comments don't typically require cw's

could you also confirm/deny if it was a mod that made the comment explaining why the original comment was deleted that was immediately frozen and left up while all other mentions of the issue where being deleted?

which mod thinks it's okay to leave up comments gleefully shipping a man with a boy and delete all explanations as to why this is inappropriate? i replied to the thread twice explaining why it was fucked up and it was deleted both times, i also linked it twice in the deletion post and nothing's come of it

how is this left up when earlier today a comment referencing ageplay without a cw was deleted, and just hours ago platonic fanart of the same ship was deleted?

1. underage ships aren't explicitly banned, just nsfw images and text of underage characters
2. that being said, i didn't realize the easy access shorts counted as nsfw text -- it actually is, and i have since screened the thread in question

i didn't phrase it aggro at all and it's really important to me to not see stuff like that in the main post because of triggers involving my own mental illnesses and focus problems

1) obviously nobody's allowed to express how various discussions on wiffu made them feel, ever, because that's just continuing wank

2) listen you can't expect the mods to go through a 200-comment frozen thread and pick out the ones that need deletion!! what, they're linked in the deletion post? sorry i can't read suddenly

mods you really need to start listening to nonas and not just making random inexplicable judgment calls based on what's convenient for you, we already had mods who operated under that philosophy and it didn't end well for them either

i didn't delete it because it's not nsfw. i would not tag it nsfw in my blog for example, and some post gifs we had would need an nsfw warning too if that was the case.

regarding that comment by lizard, i hadn't read it and wasn't aware of any new policy, but after checking with the other mods none of us think that kind of imagery is nsfw.

i'm not entirely sure which this is in referral to but

1 you can post about incest when warned for
2 (which i'm guessing this is about) you can't post explicit content about robin in short shorts as it's been brought to our attention that robin was 12-17 during that period, which violates our underage rule
3 if you do want to post content about said robin (jason/tim/damian/dick) while wearing short shorts as a fashion style, i'd recommend using their later adapted name
4 if it in any way seems shitstirry or trying to circumvent the underage rule, we're free to delete it

reiterating here that it's an absolutely terrible idea to delete threads specifically bc they got trolled and honestly i'm not okay w/ a mod telling lgbt ppl that it's weird to talk about our formative experiences as lgbt teens in an lgbt fandom comm (even if GASP it includes sex)
