which mod thinks it's okay to leave up comments gleefully shipping a man with a boy and delete all explanations as to why this is inappropriate? i replied to the thread twice explaining why it was fucked up and it was deleted both times, i also linked it twice in the deletion post and nothing's come of it

how is this left up when earlier today a comment referencing ageplay without a cw was deleted, and just hours ago platonic fanart of the same ship was deleted?

1. underage ships aren't explicitly banned, just nsfw images and text of underage characters
2. that being said, i didn't realize the easy access shorts counted as nsfw text -- it actually is, and i have since screened the thread in question
3. your comments were deleted bc they were unnecessarily aggro

so it would have been fine to talk about how you're into a ship during a period when one of them was anywhere between 10-17yrs old while the other one was an adult (as well as their legal guardian) as long as the text wasn't nsfw?

sorry for being aggro when flagging this comment, i'm sure you can appreciate that i was pretty fucking disturbed by the subject matter

mod discretion applies here. talking about shipping a 10 year old with an adult should be deleted, talking about shipping a 17 year old with a 19 year old shouldn't be, there is a huge amount of grey area in between that that the rules don't directly cover that should be dealt with on a case by case basis.

i would delete anything minor/parental figure on that basis, but i'm not familiar enough with several wiffu-popular canons to necessarily know if a character being spoken of is underage.

i understand mods aren't familiar with every canon which is why i pointed out the ages when i replied to the thread before i linked it in the deletion post, saying jason was barely 15 at the end of his time as robin

like sorry i was aggro about it but i was frustrated and i assumed the whole subthread would be nuked anyway, i didn't realize i had to ask nicely for mods to delete comments that essentially amount to fetishizing csa

i can appreciate the mod discretion stance but amodterasu was disturbingly unconcerned in their response to me and tbh i don't trust them to handle these issues appropriately in the future

is there going to be a follow-up to this? i'm asking because i'm pretty uncomfortable with the way it was handled and the mod response is offering me little reason to believe it won't happen again
