it would be like this:
u might click on something vague, see something cnovel related, think "not for me", and move on

i might click on something vague, see something cnovel related, think "i don't go here but i feel like cnovel nonas would love to see this", and add a label

yes, thats the point were trying to make why NOT let people do their own thing? no one is forcing you to label your links. but why do you get to force people to not label it for you if they think its helpful?

based off my own experience with my fandom and also seeing the wank that popped up every single time a cr thread, it's very clear to me it's just a way to be snarky about a fandom you don't like. it's not helpful, it's bratty. it's also mostly aimed at one fandom. the last time we had a fandom specific rule was the grandma ponnies weird convoluted underage rule that got changed
